Our journey began in 1995 with a commitment to find American design that was as useful as it is beautiful. We started as a small retail store, turned quickly into a commercial furniture business and started designing and building unique products for restaurants, hotels, retail, and offices.
Our founders started Crow Works with unending passion and dedication, ultimately leading us to today’s thriving operation. We’ve grown as a team, in size and in expertise, always asking what more can be done. We consider ourselves a community of curious people who care about each other and the world around us, hoping to connect people through our designs and the remarkable experiences we create. We’ve had a lot going on, and even more in the works, and we want you to get to know who we are, what we’re excited about, and where we’re going.
For the past few years we’ve been operating out of both downtown Columbus and Killbuck, Ohio. We’ve recently expanded our Killbuck operations, buying land and renovating an old shoe sole factory, establishing 140,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space. This year, after renovating an old bank and laundromat, we moved our Columbus office to Johnstown, Ohio, bringing our offices a little closer together. Part of our mission is to revitalize local communities through job creation and community connection, we love being a part of the Killbuck community, and are excited to plant roots in Johnstown as well.
Our growing expertise has led to growth in our capabilities, allowing us to add new manufacturing technology and adjust our processes for even more efficiency. We’re looking forward to putting our rapid prototyping and production abilities to the test.
We’ve been lucky enough to work with clients in our own backyard and nationwide. Perhaps you’ve sat in our Transit chair at your local Starbucks, dined in our custom banquettes at Leon, or chosen a shirt off the custom shelves at Abercrombie & Fitch. We are excited to share with you all the exciting new work we have planned for 2020. We’re just getting started and look forward to building something great together!
